The safari continues with a Zanzibar extension where you will relax on the beautiful beach surrounded by palm and coconut trees.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its biodiversity. The park includes different environments: the lake, the forest, and the plain. The lions climb trees because they don't like wet soil due to underground springs. It is rich in primates, birds, and big mammals.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater (when the animals are more active). The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals.
Due to its natural borders, wildlife is abundant throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the Black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

Following breakfast, with a picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro crater rim and onto Empakai Crater for hiking, this half-day hike explores the dramatic Empakaai Crater. With a lake on the Crater floor and the entire caldera encircled by a steep, densely forested wall,
Empakaai is a scene of vast natural beauty. On clear days the Crater offers views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, Tanzania’s most recently active volcano. The steep slope calls for a degree of fitness, but the walk through the lush forest, with its ancient strangler figs and rich birdlife, is well worth the effort. The trail continues to the lakeshore, where you can view water birds such as flamingos.
Later in the day pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you'll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market. As the light fades return to your lodge for dinner.

At 7 am after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the wildlife! Your overnight stay will be at Sangaiwe Tented Camp. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided. You'll also get 2 small bottles of water (500ml) per person.
Tarangire National Park is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June - November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti. This is because enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Arusha Airport with a picnic lunch, for your air transfer to Zanzibar departing at 1:15 pm. You'll be arriving in Zanzibar at 2:35 pm. On arrival, you are met by our representative and then transferred to your hotel in Stone Town.
After checking in and freshening up, you will depart for a 2-hour Stone Town tour which is a walking tour where you will be going through the narrow streets of Zanzibar. See how the locals live and also learn about the slave trade history and the excellent architecture of Zanzibar. You are then guided back to your hotel. Your overnight stay is at Stone Town

After breakfast, check out and depart for the half-day Prison Island tour where you will be able to learn about the island as well as look at the giant tortoises that are 150 years old and above.
After the tour, you are brought back to shore and then you are transferred to your beach hotel. Located on the East coast of Zanzibar Island, is a lively village surrounded by some of Zanzibar's most beautiful beaches. At the time of your choice, you will transfer to this location. Once a sleepy fishing village, it is now a popular island destination full of life. It is also one of the only places from where you can see both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean. You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean
