Day 1
Today your safari adventure begins! We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. Your guide will take you to Arusha National Park, a park with beautiful scenery and a large population of animals. The park is divided into three parts: Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes.
Arusha is the gateway to the world-famous Tanzanian safari circuit. As such, it is often the first and/or last stop on any itinerary. The park gate lies just 45 minutes from the city center and ishighlighted by incredible lush greenery and views of nearby Mt. Meru - or even Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
Destination In Depth >Tarangire National Park can best be described as the Land of the Elephants. Over 1,000 square miles of unspoiled African wilderness are dotted with Baobab trees and Acacias. The Tarangire river meanders through the park and serves as the primary source of water for all the incredible wildlife that live here.
Destination In Depth >Perhaps the most famous national park in the entire world - and with good reason. The Serengeti plains are the classic African safari experience and filled to the brim with wildlife. Spend your days watching the big cats of Africa in their natural habitat and your nights in one of the many incredible lodges inside the park.
Destination In Depth >Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this 100sq mile ancient volcano is home to its own miniature ecosystem. Few animals climb out of the 2,000 ft high rim walls. Around20 of those animals that stay year round are critically endangered Black Rhino - Making this the best place in the world to see these beautiful animals.
Destination In Depth >Lake Manyara is a great change-of-pace from the other parks in the Tanzanian safari circuit. Its thick forest and shallow alkaline lake offers refuge for over 390 species of birds - including nearly 2 million flamingo. Marshlands and shallow pools provide the ideal habitat for hippo. Lake Manyara is also home to rare tree-climbing lions.
Destination In Depth >Day 2
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives with a picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its biodiversity. The park includes different environments: the lake, the forest, and the plain. The lions climb trees because they don't like wet soil due to underground springs. It is rich in primates, birds, and big mammals. After game drives, we'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater (when the animals are more active). The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals.
Due to its natural borders, wildlife is abundant throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the Black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

After breakfast departs with a picnic lunch for Tarangire National Park for game drives, at 1600hrs drive to Arusha town.
Tarangire National Park is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June - November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti. This is because enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water. With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River, the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species.
